No, it just smells like that.) Actually I do a playtest of new IWD2 mod last month and don't show up myself online. But I check noxcommunity.com from time to time and will try to join if somebody will play on NoxWorld or NoxCommunity EU.

IWD2.. might try that game sometimes. I downloaded IWD1 into my iPad last summer.

You should use the NoxAlarm though, if you're really a hardcore NoXer.

I think we need something more radical. I think we need something like SMS spam to a whole list of people, maybe at the moment when there's already 5 people on one server. All the hackers 'round here, what you waiting for??

This is not IWD1, this is IWDEE. There is a large difference here. Compared to BG and BG2, IWD very linear and battle oriened, but also very atmosferic and good balanced. Compared to IWD, BG2 has so many overpowered artifacts, broken (in terms of game balance) spells and exploit spell combinations. For BG2 it is not a big problem, because BG series not only about battles. BG2EE quite OK too, becouse changes only cosmetical and no much gameplay difference between BG2 and BG2EE.
But for more fighting then roleplaying oriented games like IWDs, IWDEE done really ticky-tacky. Almost all spells/abilites features from BG2(EE) was added, but without any balance thoughts. For example, Paladin's Inquisitor kit really weak compared to other IWDEE Pals, and almost useless in IWDEE environment, becouse little number of mob-casters, other dispel system, other spell's scaling, improved caster level for Paladins and extended Pal's spell list in IWD. No new AI scripts for mobs, enemies can't counteract new abilities and spells from BG2. For example, Mislead cheese can be used in almost any "difficult" fight. Even final bosses hasn't immunity to Time Stop. But TS just not needed, becouse new buffs from BG2 in addition to the old IWD buffs let you drive whole game like a steam roller even without deep learning of spell system and trained microcontrol of warrior classes. Some old AI scripts was actually broken or simplified in IWDEE (I think it happened by accident when EE engine from BG2EE was overlay on original IWD files) in terms of targeting algorithm and way searching.
For example, even with vanilla IWD AI scripts for mobs I wasn't able to kite enemies with one char and shoot them by others. At least not too often. In IWDEE this is normal situation for almost any fight. Even badly, during kiting mobs can easely cling for each other and stuck.
Even 1st level nude solo start on HoF difficulty not challenging and interesting in IWDEE. HoF bonuses was greatly nerfed, special HoF encounters was pumped back to Insane difficulty. You can quite easelly win game by almost any class. Original IWD with Heart of Winter and Trials of Luremaster addons was really difficult in this starting conditions, even without improved AI scripts from fans. I was able to win this only with Druid, this class more interesting and strong in IWD and IWD2 then in BG series.
Vanilla IWD2 has many problems, I think IWD with HoW and TotL significally better. But IWD2 has more good tactical and NPC mods. And even ancient vanilla IWD2 without Tactics4IWD2, Light of Selune and semiOverhaul much, much better then vanilla IWDEE. Fans already made some interesting mods for IWDEE, for example Improved Heart of Fury Mode from OlvynChuru. But it's not usable on Apple devices.(

Is the main point of your post that the game is too easy? Well, for me it is never too easy to play any game on an iPad (I'm too old for this), so it's ok if the gameplay itself is not super difficult.

On the other hand, I owned some NoX matches on my laptop touchpad a few months ago.

No problem if cRPG has easy battles. Fights in KotOR (at least in first game, I did't play KotOR2) very easy, but I like this game very much for many other sides. And sometimes people play games just for relax. But IWD is a some special case. IWD/BG/Planescape actually not separated games. This is one product for different desires of player. Torment for almost pure roleplaying, IWD much more tactical (quite hardcore and very fair compared to BG2) then RP game, and BG balanced in both ways. Also BG2 has very nice "mage chess" battles with tactical mods, IWD was oriented more on "warrior's gameplay" and good microcontrol. I did't play TormentEE, I don't know much about it. BGEE/BG2EE quite good renewal for BG series. But IWDEE already hasn't tactical challenge, and without it IWDEE just bad similarity of BG2EE. With very linear plot, and without roleplaying, without interesting quests, without strong enemies. Even unique for Infinity Engine games IWD's aura of the "Harsh North" (which could replace sense of BG roleplaying in many aspects actually) dissapeared. "Sometimes people play games just for relax."(C) But after BG fans (I means new people, who played only EE games, or those, who played original BG/BG2, but never played original IWD) played IWDEE, they often begins to smear the whole IWD series with mud. Knowing nothing about differences between IWD and IWDEE, and never tryed IWD2, bcs "this is other system, I like only AD&D2". I personally feel myself very unpleasant when I hear it. It is difficult for me to discribe my feelings becouse language barrier. Sorry my bad english, hope you can to understand me.

Actually, I already play Nox with boxers only, and i vigorously rub my chest when I hit Chum or Protz with a random ram.

I would like to be more graphic but I think its enough for now.
