Idea/Suggestion Sergius Brainstorming

Post by Host_6 » Sep 14, 2018 7:01 pm

I have spend 2 days without sleeping by trying to develop some good strats and advices for Sergius.

And this is the conclusion:
  • I think you (Sergius) should utilize anchor, which prevents your opponents from escaping. Very important, because sometimes you nearly get them but they simply blink away.
  • If someone uses Reflective shield you can overcome it by run spell.
  • Don't think that if you use run spell against someone he can not hit you. You must keep distracting his aim by tele.
  • I remember Ephreaym used to do such a trick using teleport to mark instead of blink where he prepared trap, so everyone who followed him through his blink triggered the trap and usually died. That was super annoying for all wars and Chumleigh.
  • Also, try to never play without RS!
Well, those are just basics. Maybe someone finds more.

Another post about me! I am delighted! Thank you my amiable friend! I was about to ask somebody from the community for advice, but you forestalled me! I am almost constantly thinking over my tactics and reshaping it, but I haven't succeeded so far! Any of your advices would be welcome!

true... well, Sergius, we could do a brainstorm session in the server once on a dueling server or something and discuss options.

Don't worry! It usually takes many (many many) hours of playing to become good.
btw it is often more about muscle memory than some theoretical playing concepts.
You need not only good tactic but also master the execution, and that requires playing.
You know, doing things without even thinking about it.

I think I have found a tricky solution. I should use fireball with telekinesis to hit opponents at a far distance. Also you can detonate your own fireball with the help of telekinesis slightly from the side of the opponent. Thus you can overcome the shield.
Fireball can be sent straight ahead as well (even when telekinesis is on). But all of that require some training to get used to this method, I guess.
